Featuring 16 staterooms, the new boat has been constructed by traditional craftsmen using brass and teak. The accommodation will include 16-square metre Avalon Deluxe Staterooms, which open to the outside with floor-to-ceiling, sliding glass doors and balconies. Other on board facilities will include a sun deck, 24-hour bar, dining room, library, massage area and fitness centre. It will feature 18 crew members.
Avalon Waterways will sail the Avalon Angkor as part of its new 14-day 'Fascinating Vietnam, Cambodia & The Mekong River' itinerary from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. The cruise section fromHCMC to Siem Reap lasts seven days.

The Avalon Angkor cruises will add to the company's existing Asian offerings, which also include three separate Yangtze River itineraries.
